Heidelberg Materials Malaysia comprises of two main companies - Hanson Quarry Products Sdn Bhd (Company Registration No. 197301000016) and Hanson Building Materials Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Company Registration No. 199401042009).

Hanson has been part of the HeidelbergCement Group since 2007. In September 2022, HeidelbergCement rebranded to Heidelberg Materials, bringing together our various customer brands globally.

Heidelberg Materials Malaysia is the largest producer of high-quality aggregates and asphalt, and holds a leading market position in ready-mixed concrete in Malaysia. The company employs 1,800 people and contractors across Malaysia. Heidelberg Materials Malaysia operates 15 strategically located quarries producing aggregates, 16 asphalt plants, and 45 ready-mixed concrete plants, serviced by around 340 mixer trucks.

Operating in Malaysia since 1992, Heidelberg Materials Malaysia (operated under various old entities and brands) has supplied building materials to numerous iconic projects, including the Petronas Twin Towers, Sungai Prai Bridge in Penang, Putrajaya Precinct, 359 km of MMC-Gamuda’s Electrified Double Track Rail Project, Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), and Light Rail Transit (LRT).

Heidelberg Materials Malaysia' head office is in Subang Jaya, Selangor. The operations are divided into four main regions: Central, North, South, and East, with regional offices in Penang, Johor Bahru, and Kuantan.
