  2. Pre-selection of applications by the HR department and forwarding to the initial department.
  3. If your profile matches with the position, you will receive an invitation to the initial interview.
  4. Possibly convince us in another interview.
  5. As soon as we have made a decision, you will receive feedback and possible an offer from us.

How do I apply?
  • Please apply online via the application button in the respective job posting and upload your documents as PDF file(s). When creating your application profile, you will be able to choose a username and password, which you can use to edit your profile or withdraw your application at any time. 
  • Please note that we cannot consider applications we receive via e-mail.
What documents should my application include?

Your application should include an informative and clear curriculum vitae, work and degree certificates, and a personal cover letter.

In which language should I submit my application?

Please apply in the language in which the position is advertised.

In which language will the interview be conducted?

This depends on the position. Generally, interviews are conducted in the candidate’s language. If we are not proficient in that language, the interview will be conducted in English. If the language of the job posting is English, you should assume that the interview will be conducted entirely or partially in English.

What is the dress code for interviews?

Choose clothes that you feel comfortable in and that are appropriate for the occasion of a job interview.

What is the interview process?
  • Short introduction of the participants

  • Opportunity to ask your questions 
  • Agreement on the further steps of the application process
How quickly will I receive feedback on my application?
  • You will receive a confirmation of receipt via email as soon as you have uploaded your application in our application portal. 
  • We make every effort to process your application as quickly as possible. However, this may take several weeks, as we carefully review each application.
Is it possible to apply for several positions at the same time?
  • Yes, you are welcome to apply for all positions that you are interested in. 
  • To do so, please click on the application button in the respective job posting. If you have not already logged in, you will find the button to log in with your already existing username and password on the top of the application form.
Do I get an individual reason in case of a rejection?

Please understand that due to the high number of applications, we cannot go into more detail about individual reasons for rejection.

Is there a deadline for applications?

If the job posting does not specify a deadline, you can apply as long as the posting is online.

What should I do if I am recommended by a Heidelberg Materials Employee?

How does a video interview work, and what do i need for it?
  • At best, you have a computer, laptop or tablet with a camera as well as a microphone. You do not need to install any software. 
  • We conduct our interviews via Microsoft Teams, which you can open via your browser. You will receive the link for this by email with the invitation to the interview.
