Dan Ahern leads the Malaysia business for Heidelberg Materials. He joined the company, previously known as Hanson Australia, in 2000 and has since held various senior management roles in Australia, focusing on sales, technical aspects, and aggregate and concrete operations.
In 2018, Dan relocated to Hong Kong to take on the role of General Manager for Alliance Construction Materials, a joint venture between CKI and Heidelberg Materials. Additionally, he served as Chairman of the Institute of Quarrying in Hong Kong. In 2023, Dan was appointed Managing Director of Heidelberg Materials Malaysia.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Griffith University, Brisbane and a Graduate Certificate in Corporate Management from Deakin University, Geelong.
